September evening by Rocco Scibetta

September evening./Rocco Scibetta acrylic on canvas.
September is an enchanting month, not quite summer not quite fall, the ambiguous quality of it lends easily to poets and painters. Here two lovers sit at beachfront peacefully secluded behind a dune toasting the loving cup; the tide is rolling in with only the moon providing light. The ocean with a mind all its own cups and enfolds. All is peaceful and right.
